Coffee Muffins & chestnut muffins

The deliciously rich, warming flavour of chestnut make these muffins a comforting coffee companion.

Preparation (10 persons)

For the muffins

  • Preheat the oven at 180°.  
  • In a large bowl, whisk the coffee with the milk, add the egg and butter. 
  • Add the flour, the sugar and the yeast.  Finally add chestnut to the dough, and fill the baking form until ¾rd. 
  • Put in the oven for 15min.  
  • Wait 5min to cool off.

For the icing

  • Mix in a little bowl the sugar, water and coffee until you become a smooth consistence.  
  • Decorate the muffins with some icing.
  • Drink with Decaffeinato Intenso or Roma
