Machine has been a nightmare. It no longer pulls in water and after troubleshooting we still have a non functioning machine. I would purchase a different machine after all the issues we have had. Nespressos only solution is to troubleshoot some more.

After buying this product in December of 2021 it did not connect and customer service sent a new machine. Fast forward to April 2023 and the same thing happened. The machine will not connect to wifi and I cannot make my coffee! After speaking with customer service and troubleshooting the lovely customer service agent is sending a new nespresso vertuo round head machine. I hope this one works better than the other one!

Absolutely terrible machine!

As a long-time and devoted Nespresso fanboy, I bought this machine some time ago and it worked for a while, but now, after a brief hiatus, it flashes a double orange light. I try to descale it, but it won't even let me! I search the internet for help and discover that many people are apparently having a similar issue. I try to factory reset, but it won't let me because I need to descale, but can't because it doesn't recognize the insanely complicated descale kabuki dance I'm trying and failing to perform.

We got our first machine as a wedding shower gift. After 8 months the machine died. They sent us a new one and less than 2 months later this one is also dead. I am so disappointed as I had one of the older machines and it was amazing!!! But these newer models don't last. It doesn't make sense to me.

The machine is rather quiet and makes coffee much quicker than a drip system. I have not tried a carafe yet, but anything from a single espresso to double espresso to a cup is quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this Nespresso machine to anyone looking for an upgrade.

I've been a client of Nespresso for 8 years now and I've been using my vituo machine for all this time. In October I took advatage of the promotion to get this new machine for $1 + subscription, and the nightmare begun. The new machine does not brew the coffee correctly, it jams up all the time, there is always a red light blinking, and then you have to unplug, wait, and sometime it still does not solve the problem (good thing I kept my old machine). Then I contacted the assistance which was an amazing service, and my machine was deemed defective. I got a new one, same model as a replacement. After about 2 months using the machine the same issues appeared and not the machine is no longer being used. I will be contating Nespresso again this weekend for a solution. This is not acceptable and clearly there is a design issue with this model as the defect just repeats and you can read many reviews saying the same. Nespresso should recall it.

Certe, elle fait du très bon café!! Mais quand elle fonctionne!!!. On a gaspiller temps et argent sur cette machine, appeler le service a clientèle.c est une machine capricieuse, même si on la soigne au petit oignon, elle refuse de partir a quelque reprise. Mais aujourd'hui, rien ne va plus, elle ne veut rien savoir. Elle part et arrête ensuite ne coule pas et le voyant devient rouge. J en ai assez!! On a des recourt la garentie légale!! Franchement svp régler le problème a la source! Pleins de clients ce plaigne.

I’ve gone through two of these machines in the last two years now and suffice to say this is a terrible model. The original very vertuo with the automatic lid worked perfectly at my mom’s, she’s never had an issue and she’s had hers for 4+ years. The first time I had to replace this version was when a waterline broke (I was in the phone with customer service troubleshooting, the machine leaked coffee every time I made a cup). Now the replacement machine they sent can’t make more than one cup of coffee before overheating, and it only makes 1/4 cup with a regular 7 oz pod. I even got the beautiful and pricier copper version of this machine, still works terribly. Do NOT purchase this model. Service via coffee pods / shipping and other Nespresso items are great, so I want to be clear this is not a knock on Nespresso itself but just this model of their vertuo line of machines.

I received this Nepresso as a Christmas gift and have been disappointed within a month of use. This is my third Nespresso (Pixie and Citizen), and I regret giving away my last one to a family member when I received this one. It is constantly flashing red. I cycle clean it almost every other day and have wasted about 50 pods during this process. It looks cheap and is louder than a jet engine. Embarrassingly cheap looking on my countertop as well.

I bought this machine 4 days ago and have only been able to have 2 coffees. Machine gets an error that it is too hot on the first use. Called nespresso they walked me through a reset. Made one coffee after the reset then stopped again. They told me it was due either cleaning or descaling. Apparently new machines require scaling and or cleaning after first use.

Didn't work, replacement didn't work

We ended up returning ours because of the constant problems. Felt bad returning it too, as this was a birthday gift from my wife. But this machine was having issues so frequently, probably more than 50% of the time. Nespresso even sent us a replacement, which was great customer service, but the replacement had the same issues. The device would randomly just fail to make coffee, and none of the suggestions for resetting it or cleaning it ever permanently resolved the issues. You could clean it and it MIGHT make a coffee for you, but even then, the next coffee would fail. Occasionally, it would fail and then upon resetting (or whatever the term was) start spitting out hot water. It was a real headache, and while customer service offered to send us a second replacement (third unit), we decided we'd rather not deal with the hassle.
