How exactly does the bonus coffee with cumulative 9 sleeves (90 capsules) work?

When you create a Coffee Plus recurring order, the capsules/sleeves ordered in every recurring order are counted towards the 9 sleeve/90 capsule threshold to receive your bonus coffee.

Once the cumulative amount of coffee ordered (i.e. in 1 order, or in multiple orders) reaches 9 sleeves/90 capsules, the free bonus coffee will be applied and delivered with your recurring order.

For example:
1. Recurring order of 5 sleeves (50 capsules) – receive 1 bonus sleeve with every 2nd recurring order (reaches cumulative 10 sleeves/100 capsules).

2. Recurring order of 9 sleeves (90 capsules) – receive 1 bonus sleeve with every recurring order.

Is there a difference between Coffee Plus and recurring orders?

In short, they are the same thing. Coffee Plus by Nespresso is what entitles you to special benefits, rewards and exclusive access to offers. Your recurring order is the coffee order you set up for auto-delivery as part of Coffee Plus.

Would I still benefit from promotional offers with a Coffee Plus recurring order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with Coffee Plus recurring orders, you are still able to enjoy most Nespresso promotions. If your recurring order meets the terms of the promotion and your next recurring order is scheduled to ship within the promotional period, it will automatically have the offer applied.

If your recurring order is not scheduled to ship during the promotional period or the contents do not meet the promotion requirements, you have the option to delay your recurring order and place a unique order to redeem the offer.

The best way to ensure you don't miss any promotions you’re eligible for is to be opted-in to receive email and SMS notifications in My Account > My Contact Preferences.

Can I choose any coffee for my bonus coffee when I set up a Coffee Plus recurring order?

You are able to choose from a selection of 5 coffees that have been picked to suit a range of tastes. Feel free to discuss with us your coffee preferences and we can help you determine the most suitable coffee, alternatively visit us in a Nespresso boutique for a free tasting.

The pre-selected blends are:

Original blends: Arpeggio, Napoli, Colombia, Stockholm Fortissio Lungo and Arpeggio Decaffeinato.

Vertuo blends:Altissio, Double Espresso Chiaro, Intenso, Colombia, Melozio Decaffeinato.

Question 5

Is Coffee Plus the same as EasyOrder?

While both are based on the same recurring order service, Coffee Plus by Nespresso elevates the program by offering special benefits that are only available with Coffee Plus. EasyOrder isn't offered any longer.
If you already had a recurring order set up via EasyOrder, you are automatically part of Coffee Plus and can select a bonus coffee to receive with every 9 cumulative coffee sleeves (90 capsules) by signing in and editing your recurring order in My Account > My Recurring Orders.

Question 6

If I'm currently signed up to a Coffee Subscription Plan and want to create a Coffee Plus recurring order, can I stay on the Coffee Subscription Plan as well?

Unfortunately, no. Coffee Subscription Plans can’t be combined with Coffee Plus.

Question 7

Is there a minimum capsule quantity requirement for recurring orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your order must contain a minimum of 50 capsules (5 sleeves). This automatically entitles you to free standard delivery on your order.

Though there is a minimum, we're confident you can customise your order to suit you or your household. When creating your recurring order, you'll have the option to set your order to recur less frequently, or even pause or defer your recurring order as you need.

Are there any cancellation fees or other fees?

There are no fees for Coffee Plus recurring orders aside from the cost of your recurring order coffee. There are no fees for creating, modifying or cancelling your order.

You may see a pending payment of $1 with your bank, when you create or modify your EasyOrder.

This is a verification check to store your payment card for recurring payments. The amount will not be charged, and will be released back to you within a few days.

Can I include Limited Edition coffees in my recurring order?

Limited Edition coffees are not available for Coffee Plus recurring orders as stock is available in limited quantities and for limited periods.

However, you can select ‘Discovery Coffee’ as your bonus coffee. It is a specially selected mystery coffee, often a Limited Edition or newly released blend. This selection will be changed each month and the sleeve will be automatically added to eligible orders if you select the Discovery Coffee as your bonus gift.

Yes! Every recurring order is auto-delivered with free standard delivery.

Question 11

How do I modify or cancel my Coffee Plus recurring order?

Accepted Answer

You can modify or cancel your recurring order anytime on the Nespresso website or mobile app.

Simply sign in and go to My Account, followed by My Recurring Orders to manage your recurring order settings.

You can modify the next scheduled order date, delivery address, payment method and order contents, including changing the bonus coffee. You can also cancel your recurring order without fees or delays.

What happens if an item in my recurring order is out of stock?

Accepted Answer

If an item is out of stock, your order will automatically exclude this item and the remainder of your order will ship. You will only be charged for shipped items. You will be notified by email of products that could not be shipped. If you receive this email, we recommend reviewing and updating your recurring order in case a product is permanently unavailable.

If an out-of-stock item forces your order to below 50 capsules, you will receive an email advising that your order is on hold. You’ll be contacted by Nespresso and we’ll assist with resolving the issue. If you notice you have not received your recurring order shipment notification at the expected next shipment date, you're also able to log in and check your order for any issues or contact us so we can assist.

Please note: As your bonus coffee is applied to your order every time you order 90 capsules* (cumulative across orders), you may not receive your bonus coffee when expected if out-of-stock coffee results in your order not reaching the minimum 90 cumulative capsules. You will still receive your bonus coffee when the cumulative number of capsules ordered through your Coffee Plus recurring order reaches 90 cumulative capsules.

How will I know when my order will ship?

You can check and update the next shipment date within My Recurring Orders in My Account, on the Nespresso website or App. You will also be notified three days prior to the shipment of your order via email.

If you wish to modify order contents, or delivery and payment information after receiving this email, you can do so until midnight the day before your order is shipped (eg: 11:59PM on January 3 for an order shipping on January 4).

What if I don't want my order but it has already shipped? Can I cancel it?

Once a recurring order is processed we are unable to make any changes. We would encourage you to keep your order and to consider delaying your next shipment date. As Nespresso capsules are hermetically sealed, the coffee can be stored and used at a later date.
