We’ve got a special offer for our Members to experience our range of quality coffees. We have developed some frequently asked questions to assist you in placing your order to receive your complimentary capsules. Terms & Conditions of the free coffee offer can be found beneath the FAQs.

Frequently Asked Questions


Q: How do I redeem my complimentary capsules?

A: You must login to the website using your Nespresso Member details. To ensure you’re using the correct login details, please use the same email address that you received the communication from Nespresso.
To be eligible to receive the complimentary capsules you must order at least the minimum amount of capsules specified in the communication received.
When you have ordered your capsules, PROCEED TO CHECKOUT and the complimentary capsules will automatically appear in your shopping bag.

Q: Can I redeem this offer more than once?

A: Yes, you are able to redeem this offer as many times as you wish until 22/09/19. However, the offer is limited to one per transaction so you will be required to order in separate transactions each time.

Q: Can I redeem this offer in conjunction with the Mystery Tasting Set offer?

A: Yes, you are able to redeem these offers together as long as you place your order from an eligible membership account for both offers, within the offer period and while the Mystery Set is in stock. The free coffee offer is limited to one per transaction and the Mystery Set is only available to redeem once.

Q: Can I choose the complimentary capsules I receive?

A: The complimentary capsules have been selected by Nespresso to help Members enjoy a range of our coffees and to highlight the Club Member favourites in our range. It is not possible to choose which complimentary capsules you receive. However, the order you place to meet the required amount in the offer can contain any coffee of your choice.

Q: Why is my offer different to my friend/neighbour/colleague?

A: From time to time Nespresso will provide personalised offers for our Members. Our offers are personalised to each Member depending on what we believe would be of most interest to them. Q: Why isn’t my offer appearing online?

A: To view your offer you must first log in to the website using your Nespresso Member details. Eligibility Criteria

Claims can be submitted by:

  • Residents of New Zealand;
  • Who have purchased a Participating Product from a Participating Retailer;
  • Who are new/existing Nespresso Club Members; and
  • Who have submitted a claim in accordance with the claim method;
  • Who have otherwise complied with these terms and conditions.

Promotional Period

The Promotion starts at 12:01am NZDT on 13 August 2019 and closes at 11:59pm NZDT on 25 September 2019.

Participating Products

Any Nespresso coffee machine purchased from a Participating Retailer

A Participating Product does not include:

  • Nespresso Business Solution machines; or
  • Commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds of similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion.

Participating Retailers

Retailers who sell Participating Products in New Zealand and operate from shop fronts in New Zealand including both the physical shop front and online store operated by such retailers. A Participating Retailer is not www.nespresso.com or the Nespresso Club via phone 0800 234 579 or Nespresso Boutiques.

Offer

Purchase any Participating Product and receive 50 preselected complimentary coffee capsules consisting of the following capsule Exact selection of capsules to be at the discretion of Nespresso.

If you place a further order of 50 capsules or more in one transaction by 11.59pm NZDT 30 November 2019 you will receive $30 discount on your order.

Claim Method

To claim the Offer, claimants must:
(i) Go to a Participating Retailer;
(ii) Purchase a Participating Product before 25 September 2019;
(iii) Before Claim Close Date 1, visit the Website to submit the 50 complimentary coffee capsules claim and join the Nespresso Club (if required);
(iv) Following claim verification, receive an email from Nespresso providing confirmation of the 50 coffee capsules being dispatched to the address provided by the claimant;
(v) Following claim verification, receive an email with a promotional code from Nespresso;
(vi) For $30 discount when you make a further purchase of 50 capsules before Claim CLose Date 2
(vii) The $30 discount will be provided as a Coffee Credit to the claimants Nespresso account. Use the Coffee Credit by providing the promotional code when Nespresso coffee capsules are purchased at www.nespresso.com or by phoning the Nespresso Club on 0800 234 579 or by visiting a Nespresso Boutique.

Claim Close Date

The claim process for the 50 complimentary coffee capsule offer must be completed no later than 11:59pm NZDT on 25 October 2019. ("Claim Close Date 1")
The claim process for the $30 discount offer must be completed by 11:59pm NZDT 30 November 2019. ("Claim Close Date 2")

Offer Delivery

The 50 preselected complimentary coffee capsules will be provided to the claimant within 15 business days after their claim has been validated and processed by The Promoter.
The $30 Coffee Credit will be automatically added to the claimant’s second Nespresso coffee order of 50 capsules. The Coffee Credit must be used in full in a single transaction by 30 November 2019.
Claimants will have to spend an additional minimum amount in order to redeem the $30 Coffee Credit.
For example: to receive the $30 Coffee Credit claimants may purchase 50 capsules (5 sleeves) of Arpeggio capsules at $0.87per capsules at a total cost of $43.50. Following application of the $30 Coffee Credit, the claimant will have a minimum spend of $13.50

Maximum claims permitted

A maximum of three (3) claims in total will be accepted per customer during the Offer Period, provided each claim represents the separate purchase of a Participating Product.

Other Conditions

1. Use with other offers: This Offer is not available in conjunction with any other Nespresso promotion, offer or discount. The offer is not available to customers who use points/rewards from a third party loyalty program as full payment towards a Participating Product at a Participating Retailer. The Offer is not valid for commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds or similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion.
2. Verification: Nespresso reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims and reserves the right to disqualify any individual claimant or group of claimants for tampering with the claim process. Proof of purchase documentation (in the form of a purchase receipt) must clearly show the Participating Retailer, the Participating Product, the price paid and the date of the purchase. The serial number of the machine must also be provided to Nespresso. Claim details that are ineligible or incomplete will be considered void.
3. Returns: Nespresso reserves the right to refuse any claim if the Participating Product is returned to the point of purchase.
4. Privacy: Nespresso collects claimants’ personal information in order to conduct the Offer. All personal details are kept in accordance with the Nespresso Privacy Policy. Visit www.nespresso.com/nz/en/legal to access the Nespresso Privacy Policy.
5. Receipt of claims: Claims are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, late, lost or misdirected information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission.
6. Not transferable: All Offers unless stated to the contrary are not transferable & cannot be converted to cash.
7. Consumer Guarantee: These terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 [NZ] where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.)
8. Tampering: The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual claimant or group of claimants for tampering with the claim process. Tampering includes but is not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed to make multiple claims that are not associated with a separate eligible purchase, or submitting a claim which is not otherwise in accordance with these terms.
9. Technical Malfunction: If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the Promotion.
10. Lay bys: Lay-bys not paid in full by 25 September 2019 are excluded from this offer
11. Delivery: Free standard delivery is included with redemption.
12. Stock Availability: The free Nespresso items are subject to stock availability and Nespresso reserves the right to supplement this offer with alternative items of equivalent value. No cash alternative will be available in lieu of the stated items.
13. Preselected Coffee Capsules: The 50 complimentary Nespresso coffee capsules will be made up of a preselected range chose by Nespresso. This range cannot be changed/substituted by claimants. Nespresso reserves the right to supplement this offer with alternative items of equivalent value, if required, as stated above. No cash alternative will be available in lieu of the stated items.
