Capriccio with its unique character was one of our first four coffees launched in 1986. At that time, its Robusta content made it our most intense coffee. Pioneers in a coffee industry where only Arabicas counted as premium, we opted to use top-quality Robusta to spice the blend - a daring move. Lightly roasted, Brazilian and Colombian Arabicas paired with Robusta, unveil a rich profile with fine acidity and cereal notes, catering to mild espresso lovers who enjoy a bit of boldness in their cup.
Roasting
Capriccio gets a light roast to preserve the fine acidity that shimmers through the rich cereal notes. Light roasting also develops that rich profile unique to Capriccio.
With Milk
Adding milk to Capriccio will bring out the biscuit and caramel notes and highlight the coffee’s sweetness. It’s easy to enjoy Capriccio with milk as a Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato.
Our capsules are made of 80% recycled Aluminium
This is part of our continued journey towards circularity, going further to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of product materials.
Recycled aluminium requires less energy to produce and it provides the perfect barrier against oxygen, light, and humidity to protect the freshness and aromas of coffee over time.
