Here is what you need

  • capsule of either Roma or Ristretto Decaffeinato Grand Cru (40 ml/1.5 oz)
  • 30g / 1 oz of strawberries and 15 g / 0.5 oz of redcurrants (or 1.35 oz/40 ml of ready_made strawberry_redcurrant coulis)
  • teaspoon of white sugar
  • ice cubes
  • small bunch of redcurrants for decoration
  • water glass (110 ml/4 oz)
  • fine sieve
  • shaker
  • Blender/mixer
  • Espresso cup (80 ml / 3 oz)
  • CitiZ Water
  • Shaker

Let's make it!

  • Put the fruit into a blender until it becomes purée
  • Pass through a fine sieve to remove any small seeds
  • Add sugar if desired
  • Prepare either a Roma or a Ristretto Decaffeinato Grand Cru in Espresso (40 ml / 15 oz) into an espresso cup
  • Pour into a shaker with the sugar, the ice cubes and the fruit coulis
  • Mix together well until the ice cubes have melted completely
  • Pour the mixture into a water glass (110 ml / 4 oz)
  • Decorate the rim of the glass with a small bunch of redcurrants
  • Serve immediately
