Vertuo reads the unique barcodes of Vertuo coffee capsules to automatically set the optimal conditions for the choice - from the extraction time, speed, extraction amount, crema amount and temperature - creating your perfect cup of coffee.

Can the capacity of Vertuo coffee be adjusted? (How to use the Ice & Latte mode)

The capacity of Vertuo coffee is set by Nespresso coffee experts to provide the optimal coffee experience. However, when enjoying coffee with added ice or milk, you can use the "Ice & Latte Mode" When you double-click the button on the Vertuo Pop/Next, the coffee is extracted (indicated by flashing turquoise light) to be optimized for enjoying as iced coffee or latte, delivering a rich coffee flavor that becomes even sweeter and creamier when milk or ice is added, along with the extraction quantity tailored for enjoying as iced coffee or latte. Default Extraction -> Ice & Latte Mode Extraction Ristretto 25 ml -> 25 ml Espresso 40 ml -> 25 ml Double Espresso 80 ml -> 40 ml Gran Lungo 150 ml -> 40 ml Mug 230 ml -> 80 ml Enjoy Vertuo capsules at their original size for black coffee, or use "Ice & Latte Mode" when adding ice or milk for a recipe.
