This was the 2nd. Vertuo machine, horrible and bad quality machine, the coffee is good but the machine is really a bad experience. This complicated system to be pushing 3 timers here and 3 times there, for a coffee machine. You forgot to go to ITALY and learn how to build a real coffee machine. CIAO CIAO NESPRESSO...

The only reason I'm giving this machine 3 stars is because of Nespresso's amazing customer service. I purchased this machine earlier this year and am on my 4th machine. We went with the Virtuo Next because, at the time, it was their latest model and their previous models in this series received excellent reviews. Issues are basically always the same, it will work for a period of time and you can get it to continue to work using their trouble shooting techniques. Each time it will work for progressively shorter periods of time. Eventually, you can no longer get a cup of coffee. Same error code, white blinking light (sounds like it is going to work), then 2 slow blinking gold lights back to solid white; no coffee. I kept up with trying to get it to work because the flavor of the coffee is the best I've had for a home brewed, single cup brewing machine. Bottom line, this machine is, in my opinion, not worth the trouble.

Disappointed in this product

My machine is only a month old, and already having problems. I was encouraged to purchase a vertuo machine after my daughter told me how convenient the coffee is to make, and that it always had high quality foam on top of each cup. When I make a cup of coffee, all of the foam that is supposed to be on top of the brew somehow ends up in the pod receptacle. This happens with every brew cycle no matter the size of the pod. I have done multiple clean cycles, made sure there are no loose parts, and made sure there are no grounds stuck in the machine. It is very frustrating to have a new item that does not work as advertised.

Would not pair with app. Stopped working after one

Out of the box it wouldn't pair (app could never find the machine). I should have returned it then. Shortly after the warranty expired it stopped functioning (lights indicate an internal error). I am extremely disappointed.

I 100% absolutely recommend NESPRESSO! Each cup tastes perfect. As if I am sitting in a local Cafe having a nicely brewed coffee in the comfort of my home and jammies! I also love the fact that you can download the NESPRESSO app for your machine you can work with via Bluetooth and it is very easy to navigate. You can also order pods and they get to you very quickly. This machine is so neat. And you can make any size cafe from an espresso to a double espresso a regular cup of coffee to pour over and 14 FL oz. I'm sure there is more I myself am still learning all the cool functions. I also love the aeroccino. It is so quiet and I'm always so impressed with the consistency of the milk! Perfection! I'm so happy with my NESPRESSO Vertuo Next!

I love this coffee maker. I usually hate single serve coffee that comes from pods, but this coffee is actually strong and good quality. The machine is easy to use and i love the milk frother that it came with. I love being able to make cafe style drinks at home.

The Vertuo Next has a major design flaw - just had to replace the second one in a month! I have been a Nespresso Vertuo user since 2008 & happy with my other machines. Hope they get this worked out.

I love my Vertuo Next machine, it's my first Nespresso machine after upgrading from Keurig and I don't know how I survived before. The coffee is amazing, the machine takes up minimal space on my counter. No issues with my machine after a few months, crossing my fingers it stays this way!

Absolutely love my machine. This how I start my days with a nice cup of coffee. It’s fast and simple, just have water in the tank and put the capsule in and coffee in minutes without spending a lot more money on buying coffee out.

Stopped working and leaks all over

I received this as a Christmas gift and it stopped working after 9 months. I kept getting error messages that the pod was not a Nespresso pod (which it was). After wasting 4 pods, I tried to clean and descale, but still didn't work. Also, tried to reset-unsucessful. Then I tried to reset the bluetooth connection-still didn't work. The most frustrating thing was the leaking from the bottom that stained my new granite counter top.

x2 Next machines broke, Superior customer service

I initially got the Vertuno Next deluxe version as an Xmas gift from wife. It worked for 2 weeks then just stopped working all together. Nespresso replaced with another for free. 2nd machine lasted for maybe 9-10 months (without heavy use and frequent care) and it broke again. Was leaking with every cup made, then it stopped reading the pod barcode. Called Nespresso again, and they said I could try a different model. Currently have the Vertuo Evoluo for past week with no issues, hopefully none. Excellent coffee. As others have said, their saving grace is their customer service. They make great coffee when the machines work, but they are quick to help you with another machine if yours breaks down. I am loyal customer mainly because of their customer service.

This is an excellent machine.. when it works. This is my 2nd one in just over 4 months, both stopped working. The machine would try to warm the water, and two flashes of orange light and then solid blue. This is frustrating and after researching, tons of people have had the same issue. This has got to be one of the worst model and should have never be allowed to be on the market. I don't recommend this model and hoped that Nespresso pull this from the market.

I bought this machine as an "upgrade" to my VerturoPlus machine of three years (with no problems) and haven't been a fan since day one. Significantly louder than the VerturoPlus, the capsule ejector works about once every 20 times, and the container the capsules fall in gets moldy after a couple days, so I grab the pod out every time now and wipe out the machine to prevent any build up. If I wouldn't have given away my VerturoPlus, I would return this machine. I would not recommend this machine over the VerturoPlus.

AMAZING!!... when it works

I have had two of these Veruto Next Machines and BOTH have had the same problem. The brewing/cleaning button becomes completely unresponsive after a few weeks of working well. Nespresso... please fix this product. When it DID work, the coffee was amazing. The machine knew exactly how to brew each pod perfectly. However, I am extremely disappointed with the overall product. I am not the only one with this issue as I have read MANY dissatisfied customers of this product. Really hope Nespresso ensures ALL their machines in the future do not break down as easily. The literal definition of too good to be true.

I was gifted the Nespresso machine as a wedding present and I absolutely love it!! It came with samples of their coffee that were delicious. I haven't bought more yet, but would like to in the future. I've been reusing the pods with aluminum stick on caps I bought to fill my own coffee and espresso in. It makes the perfect cup of creamy espresso or coffee every time! It has started to make a noise, so I'm really hoping it isn't breaking. We've had it for 1 month at this point with daily use.

I bought the Vertuo Next 5 months ago. The machine is great when it works properly. Unfortunately, I have encountered problems with the machine preparing to brew, switching to orange and back to white. This caused a lot of time, frustration and wasted capsules trying to figure out what the problem was. Additionally, there's room for improvement in the Blinking Summary section of the instruction manual. Troubleshooting instructions are vague at best and desperately need to be revised to include more details.

When this machine works it makes great coffee love the look and size. However I have had two machines in 18 months. My latest one which replaced my first one stopped working after two half months. While I am going through the process of troubleshooting with customer I have bought a French press so I can have coffee. I had hoped by now they would have improved the issues with this machine. I’m pretty sure I was also sent a refurbished machine and not a new one.

We love this machine. I’ve used the plus as well. I love that this has larger cup size options. My husband doesn’t have to brew three pods to fill his mug in the morning. Hands down, worth the investment. The coffee cannot compare. I wish the pods were a bit more affordable.

So worth the money. We use this every single day. The pods can are a little pricey but cheaper than constantly getting coffee out, plus they’re recyclable.
