What is Lungo coffee?

Lungo is Italian for long. That says it all. For those who like to linger over their coffee moment, Nespresso Lungo is the perfect pick. There are four coffees in the Lungo range. From potent and caramelised to complex and balanced – there is something to suit every taste. All you need is a large cup (110ml or more) at the ready.

THE ART OF LUNGO

The secret of the unique flavour of Nespresso Lungo is our roasting method, which is specially developed to preserve the complexity and nuance of each blend. First, our coffee experts identify the finest green coffee beans, chosen for their specific properties. During the roasting process the beans’ inherent qualities are enhanced, ensuring the coffee always has the same exquisite taste. Finally, the roasted beans are carefully ground to put the finishing touches to each coffee. For Nespresso Lungo, the grind has to be coarse enough to allow the right amount water though for optimal flavour extraction, yet fine enough to balance body and bitterness.

LUNGO COFFEE WITH MILK?

If you like to add milk to your coffee, then Nespresso Lungo is a fine choice. The smoothness and sweetness of your coffee is enhanced with the fluffy foam and creamy consistency of milk. Lungo coffees are delicious as a latte or with just a dash of milk.
