We work closely with the farmers who produce our coffee and give them the support of agronomists who help them improve the quality of their plants and protect the environment. This often includes encouraging farmers to grow trees among their crops, and training them to always pick ripe cherries as anything less affects the taste of coffee.

At Nespresso, we believe that each cup of coffee can not only deliver a moment of pleasure, but also restore, replenish and revive environmental resources and communities.

In Singapore, we have established our own network to collect used Nespresso capsules for recycling. The aluminium from the recycled capsules is remelted into other aluminium products and the used coffee grounds are used as compost for vegetable farming at Quan Fa Organic Farm.
