Description:
Palermo inspired the long, dark roasting style as well as the high Robusta content—distinctive traits of this southern city. At a crossroads of African and Arab traditions, multicultural Palermo sparked our imagination. The result is an extremely intense, full-bodied, woody, and spicy coffee with a very dark and thick crema.
Roasting
We split this blend into two parts to highlight the unique properties of each coffee. Most beans undergo an intense roast to develop bitterness and body, but we give the naturally processed Robusta a shorter and lighter roast to reveal some of its finer aromatic notes.
Recipe:
With milk, the roasted, bitter character of Kazaar transforms into a harmonious chocolate and caramel note.
