To date, we’ve committed over £1.5 million to Change Please, a social enterprise that trains people experiencing homelessness to become baristas - giving them the skills, stability, and support to rebuild their lives.

FRESH STARTS IN OUR BOUTIQUES​

Our partnership with Change Please continues to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Now in its second year, our collaboration is growing stronger, with ambitious plans to support even more people on their journey out of homelessness. Together, we’re opening-up opportunities, including pathways to employment within our boutique network, to help build long-term, positive change.

Our aim? To offer a three-month paid placement across all regions of our boutique network for a Change Please trainee. These placements provide invaluable hands-on experience within our warm and supportive teams, helping individuals take confident steps back into the world of work.​

People are at the heart of this initiative. In the first 12 months alone, Nespresso employees contributed over 600 hours of volunteering – from CV writing and interview preparation, to employability workshops designed to build skills and self-belief.

This work is backed by a continued financial commitment that will:

• • Empower Change Please to support more trainees over the next 18 months​
• • Amplify awareness through dedicated marketing support​
• • Fund a new retail space, expanding opportunities for more trainees and graduates​
• • Help develop a new social impact project in collaboration with the UK Government​
