  • How can I learn about Nespresso promotions?

    We have a variety of special offers throughout the year, exclusively for Nespresso Club Members. The best way to receive special offers is by email and SMS. You may join our mailing list by logging into your account, clicking “Contact Preferences” from the drop-down menu.

  • Do you intend on selling in supermarkets, such as PXMART and Costco?

    It is not our intention to begin selling in supermarket chains. Nespresso’s unique business model allows us to guarantee quality at every stage of the value chain, to offer a direct relationship with our Club members as well as a holistic approach to sustainable development from cherry to cup.

  • Nespresso machine repair service

    If you believe your Nespresso machine is defective, please contact the Nespresso Club at 0809 001 886 (toll-free) or by email for technical assistance or instructions on how to proceed with a repair.

    Our trained machine specialists are qualified to carry out a full diagnosis by phone as soon as you call them. If appropriate, they will advise that you opt for the Nespresso Assistance Package, which includes:
    - The collection of your Nespresso machine from your home or an address of your choice (excluding outlying island areas).
    - Repair of your Nespresso machine and a full check of its components, repair duration: 5-7 working days.
    - Return of your Nespresso machine to the same collection address.
    - Repaired parts will be warranted for the unexpired portion of the original warranty or six months, whichever is greater.

  • There is no water coming out of the coffee outlet. What can I do?

    If you press a cup button and no water comes out of the spout, it is possible that the machine has an air bubble which most often occurs when the tank runs empty or after a period of non-use.

    Inissia/ Essenza mini/ CitiZ/ Pixie/ Expert/ Lattissima / Lattissima One/ Maestria / Creatista owners can fill the water tank, eject any capsule in the chamber, close the coffee lever and press the large cup button. The auto-prime function will push the air from the circuit. When water begins to flow through the spout, the air bubble has been released.

    For U and Prodigio machine user, please open and close the slider few times. When water begins to flow through the spout, the air bubble has been released.

    *Please note, we will suggest you to rest your coffee machine for 30 minutes after 5 trials.

  • How often should I descale my Nespresso machine?

    In order to keep your Nespresso machine in optimal condition, if you are using Lattissima series or Maestria series coffee machine, please descale your coffee machine once the descaling alert is on. For machine other than these, you are advised to descale your machine every 1 or 1 and half year. The harder the water in the area where you live is, the more often you need to descale your Nespresso machine.

    Water residue and limescale can accumulate within the system. It may not only affect the temperature, flow and quality of your espressos but it may also shorten the life of your machine.

  • Is Nespresso capsule eco-friendly?

    Yes, of course! Nespresso Taiwan has set up convenient return options to make it easy for our Club Members to return their used capsules to us for recycling. Our recycling partners then help us give a second life to both the aluminum capsule as well as the coffee grounds.


    - Aluminum is not just 100% recyclable, it can be reproduced in many other forms. Each capsule you recycle can come back in another everyday object – another capsule, bicycle, Swiss army knife, peeler, ladder, window frame or watch case.
    - Once separated from the aluminum, coffee grounds can be reused in more and more innovative ways. Today, you can find them in compost fertilizer to enrich the soil of rice fields or even vineyards. They’re also being transformed into renewable energy, like biofuel for buses.

  • Is Nespresso coffee capsule recyclable?

    Yes. After the coffee capsules being picked up from the recycling points, they will be sent to a specialist recycling plant.

    There, the aluminium is separated from the residual coffee. The coffee is then sent to an organic farm working with Nespresso to be transformed into compost, while the aluminium is recycled and sent back to the aluminium industry to produce new aluminium products.

  • Where and how to recycle used coffee capsules?

    We offer two recycling services to perfect your Nespresso coffee journey.

    - [Boutique and trade corner recycling] Reuse any recycling bag you have at home to keep the used capsules and once filled, drop them off at any Nespresso Boutique or trade corner collection points.
    - [Post office iBOX recycling] If you purchase online or by customer center, you can use the iBOX recycling service. (There are 2,000+ iBOX islandwide.) Please purchase a Nespresso recycle bag($1) while making your order and then will receive a recycle bag along with a free iBOX delivery note. Collect all your used capsules and sealed in the Nespresso recyle bag, put on the free iBOX delivery note and send back to Nespresso by visiting the iBOX that is near to your location.

    *To support and align with our government's act, Nespresso charges NT$ 1 for each recycling bag starting 1st Jan 2018. However, to avoid leaking or poluting other parcels during the delivery process, please make sure you purchase and use the Nespresso recyle bag($1), we applogize of any convenience caused.

  • How can I purchase a recycling bag?

    You can buy recycling bags on Website or call service 0809 001 886 (toll-free). To support and align with our government's act, Nespresso charges NT$ 1 for each recycling bag starting 1st Jan 2018.

    Please feel free to reuse any bag at home to bring the used Nespresso capsules to recycle at all Nespresso boutique and trade corners island wide. However, if you would like to join the iBOX recycle service, please purchase Nespresso recycle bag(with ibox delivery note) at NT$1, online or by call service while making your order. You would then received a "iBOX free delivery note" along with the coffee, so that you could fill in the delivery information and enjoy the free recycle service.

  • How many capsules can be collected in one recycling bag?

    A recycling bag can collect around 125 capsules.

  • Why does Nespresso use Aluminium in its capsules when other materials are available?

    Aluminium is the best material available today for protecting the freshness, taste and quality of our coffees. Additionally, aluminium is highly valuable from a sustainability perspective. It is infinitely recyclable, and an estimated 75% of all aluminium produced is still in use today. Because its properties do not change in the recycling process, which uses only 5% of the energy required to produce new aluminium, it can be reused in a wide range of products, from cars to computers. From coffee quality to it's sustainable properties, that is the key reason we choose aluminum in our capsules.

  • My office or restaurant is Nespresso Professional member, how could I recycle the capsules?

    Nespresso in-home and out-of-home professional capsules are all made by infinite recyclable aluminum. We aim to provide convenient recycling services to perfect you or your office or restaurant's coffee journey.

    If you want to recycle a little amount of capsules, you are welcome to drop-off the used offcie coffee capsules to Nespresso Boutiques or trade corners. However, if your office or restaurant need to arrange recycle service for a larger amount of the used capsule, please feel free to call service 0809 010 682 (toll-free) for our customized service.
