What are the difference between the Creatista Plus and Creatista Uno?

The Creatista Plus machine offers even greater variety with 8 different milk textures (as opposed to the 3 offered by Creatista Uno), 11 milk temperatures (3 for Creatista Uno). In addition, the Creatista Plus is made from metal with a stainless steel outer.

How do I obtain a perfect milk froth?

For optimal milk texturizing, use fresh, refrigerated full cream or skim milk. It is recommended to use the milk jug provided with the machine.

How do I take care of my machine?

To ensure the best hygienic conditions, it is highly recommended emptying and cleaning the capsule container every day. Additionally, we highly recommend that you perform the Milk System Cleaning Procedure monthly or when the steam wand clean alert LED is on. It takes approximately 10 minutes. Descale when prompted by flashing descale alert LED. It takes approximately 15 minutes. Please note that the machine will stop you from use if the descale cycle has not been performed within 10 uses from when the descale alert first appears and descale alert LED will be solid on.

How do I restore this machine to factory settings/reprogram this machine?

From the Nespresso Creatista Plus machine you will need to: 1. Select SETTINGS 2. Select RESET 3. Select FACTORY RESET 4. Select the validation icon to confirm 5. Select the cancel / cross icon to cancel 6. Machine will power off 7. On next use, you will need to refer to first use instructions

Are the machine parts dishwasher safe?

No parts of the machine are dishwasher safe and should not be put in the dishwasher. However, the stainless steel milk jug that comes with the machine can be put into the dishwasher.

This is like having a coffee shop in your home, so many options! Cappuccinos come out delicious, everything is customizable, from the temperature of the coffee, the milk, the level of froth. I really love this machine, it is expensive but it’s really worth it to take your coffee to the next level.

I bought this machine 3 days ago and the coating on the select knob is already falling off with light use (how many coffees can I possibly make in a few days). It is ridiculous for such cheap quality of a machine that’s worth almost $1,000. My last machine worked for 7-8 years and it was fine. Given the first few days of use, I have my reservation on how long this machine will last and keep its good look. I must say I am extremely disappointed.

I had a Pixie, which I gave to a friend, then a U. The U was nice but it had a design flaw where the spent pod ejector that break. I found a repair kit on eBay, reapaired the U and it became my travel machine. But I wanted something more durable for home so I bought the Creatista Plus. It's been through a few of its programmed cleaning/descaling cycles and I use filtered water but I haven't been able to get the same shot quality as I did with the other two machines. I recently pulled out my U and did a side by side comparison and my taste buds don't lie. The U makes much better coffee. I wanted to like the Creatista Plus but it's a real disappointment. I should add that I also make espresso manually and used to roast my own beans so I'm kind of a coffee nut.

We purchased our Creatista Plus in a Nespresso store during July 2018 and I am reviewing it during November 2022. We have used it multiple times daily for over 4 years and love it so much that we just ordered another one for our RV. The lattes are so good that I don't bother getting coffee drinks out anymore. It's quick and easy to use and clean. No hassle, no mess!

I bought my creatista around Mother’s Day 2021…love it!!! I bought it in the dark blue coating. This is my third nespresso machine, no complaints, but this was a one stop machine so I could pour and froth w one machine. Easy clean up and love the variety of pods. I love that you can pick your style, adjust your temp, pour and froth. The only thing I had issues w was placing my frothing container properly…if it’s not positioned properly, it can’t sense weight and will boil over. I’ve figured it out, but after a few messes. It would help if that was explained more. No complaints here.

Hard to read display - process to make the specialty drinks is a bit much. The display really is too small and not at an angle - very hard to read - black and white display. It’s looks nice, but otherwise very dismal product. Looking to sell mine and buy from another company - this is just glittery shiny object. Contacted Nespresso to express my complaint within 4 months and was told that I could not exchange it for the better one (was willing to pay the difference$). I’m done with this company - will miss their quality coffee - but found just as good alternatives!

I have had the Creatista for several years. Love! Beautiful, functions well and fits perfectly in a smaller kitchen. I use it almost everyday. Looks like a very compact high end espresso machine. The one thing I wish it had is a small built in drawer to store the tiny nozzle cleaning brush. It’s easy to misplace.

This machine has a poor coffee taste and it is not the coffee. I use Nespresso capsules only. It makes you descale every other 3-4 weeks and never finishes the cycle properly. I can't stand that the machine does not allow you to continue to make coffee until you can properly do it (for example, lets you wait until the weekend). Have had this machine now for 6 months and am absolutely not happy with this overpriced thing. I have had DeLonghi forever, never had issues until it was old and done (after 10 years). Will never buy a Breville machine/appliance again.

I bought this machine in May. Although this machine is noisier than my old Nespresso, I have used to it. I think I was expecting too much for this machine at the beginning. I was told that this machine could adjust the milk temperature. But it turns out only hot milk can be made although I set up cold milk function. The worse part is I chose White Color of this machine. Although I clean it quite often, the color still begins to turn yellow now. So I recommend you don't buy white although it looks pretty at beginning, it will not last for only Three months.

This machine forces you to descale without warning. So if you're prepared to have to wait 30 minutes first thing in the morning and be forced to descale you're machine (whether it needs it or not) before that first cup, then this is the machine for you! How absurd. Give some warning and let me descale AFTER I have my first cup. This has happened twice now and I just descaled this machine 3 weeks ago. No-one on this planet wants to spend 30 minutes descaling their machine before they can have that first cup. I'm now shopping for a new manufacturer.....

Received this machine as a wedding gift and was so excited to use it. Had it a little over a year now, and it refuses to work at times. When turning the power on, at times it will turn itself back off. It has become such a nuisance that I went back to my old Keurig machine.
