Remove the capsule and empty the drip tray, water tank, and used capsule container.

Fill the water tank with 500 ml of water and add 1 sachet of Nespresso descaling solution.

Place a container (minimum 1 liter) under the coffee outlet.

Press both buttons (espresso & lungo) simultaneously for 3 seconds.

The lights will blink rapidly: this means the machine is in descaling mode.

Press the lungo button to start the descaling process and wait until the water tank is empty.

Rinse the water tank and repeat steps 3 and 6 to rinse the machine, filling it with drinking water. Repeat this process twice.

To exit descaling mode, repeat step 4.
