We also got a milk frother. The two combined make such good at home lattes and cappuccinos that I’ve been able to kick my daily coffee shop habit and we also decided to spread the love, buying one for for each of our parents this year. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to try!

Bought this in 2021 and had to get it replaced twice. The first was after 3-4 months of use, the plastic pod holder cracked in multiple areas. Then once we got the replacement, after about a year it just didn't turn on. It's great they have amazing customer service but other than that, I wouldn't recommend this coffee machine. I've heard such good things about Nespresso and we genuinely like the concept of being able to make regular coffee and espresso drinks on one machine. But after these two incidents, I don't know anymore. You would expect it to last at least a couple years..very disappointed.

We recommend pressing the head of the machine down while sliding the lever over to lock and unlock the head of the machine. If sliding the lever continues to be an issue, please have your grandmother call our toll-free number 800-562-1465 to speak with a machine expert. The Vertuo Pop+ machine comes with a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting. If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we have repair and replacement options, even after the machine is out of warranty. We were previously using a Nespresso Breville machine but it finally gave out after 5+ years. The old machine was a push button shut. This one you have to manually shut and use a bit of force which is our only concern that it may affect the longevity of the product.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend and it was honestly my favorite present! I got the Aqua Mint color, along with 4 sleeves of pods to start out. I immediately kicked my Keurig off the counter and plugged in my Nespresso - IM HOOKED. The quality of coffee you get after each brew was fantastic, the machine itself is small& compact, and also quiet. The only SLIGHT issue I have is opening & closing of the machine as it's sometimes hard to open/close. Other than that tiny issue, I highly recommend!!
