- How can I set up my Vertuo Up machine for first use?
First use differs from one machine to another. Below is the setup for Vertuo Up in Saudi Arabia:
1. Open the lever and turn on the machine by pressing the coffee button once.
2. Press and hold the maintenance button for at least 3 seconds. Once the coffee button is steady blue, release it and press the maintenance button 4 times again. The coffee button and the Connectivity LED should appear steady white.
3. Press the coffee button once to confirm. The coffee button and the Connectivity LED will blink 3 times to confirm the connectivity module has now been disabled. Once the procedure is completed, the machine turns off.
4. Start the machine and it is now ready to use.- What is the machine warranty period for Nespresso machines?
All our Nespresso machines have a minimum 2-year warranty. To activate your warranty, please register your machine.
- How do I look after my machine?
To clean your machine, regularly empty the used capsule container, rinse the drip tray, and clean the machine every 3–6 months using water. Detailed instructions about operating and handling your machine can be found in our machine assistance guide.
- Are the removable parts of the machines (Original and Vertuo) dishwasher-safe?
No, the removable spare parts are not dishwasher-safe. They can be washed by hand with mild soap and water.
- My machine is not working properly. How can I get it repaired?
Many common concerns can be resolved by following the instructions on the machine assistance page, including first use, leaking, blinking, cleaning, coffee preparation, and more, as these may vary from one model to another.
- What is the difference between Original and Vertuo?
The Nespresso Vertuo and Nespresso Original machines use different technologies. The Original line is designed for espresso lovers and uses a 19-bar high-pressure technology for ideal extraction of quality espresso, giving you an unforgettable taste.
