What are the differences between Creatista Plus and Creatista?

The Creatista Plus machine offers even greater variety than the Creatista version with 8 different milk textures (as opposed to the 4 offered by Creatista) 11 milk temperatures (5 for Creatista) and an extra fast heat up time (3 seconds in comparison to 10 seconds for Creatista). In addition, the Creatista Plus is made from metal with a stainless steel outer.

How do I obtain a perfect milk froth?

For optimal milk froth, use pasteurised full cream or skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature. It is recommended to use the milk jug provided with the machine for optimised performance.

How do I care of my machine?

Accepted Answer

To ensure the best hygienic conditions, we recommend that you wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth after each use, and empty and clean the capsule container every day. Check 'how to clean - daily cleaning' video.

Additionally, we highly recommend that you perform the Milk System Cleaning Procedure monthly or when the display shows 'Clean Steam Wand'. It takes approximately 10 minutes. Check 'how to clean - monthly maintenance' video.

Descale when prompted on-screen. It takes approximately 15 minutes. Please note that the machine will stop you from use if the descale cycle has not been performed after 10 uses. A 'lockout' count-down will appear to alert you of the number of uses remaining until usage will stop. Check 'how to descale' video.

My machine has little or no coffee flow. What should I do?

If there is no coffee flow, please check if the water tank is correctly positioned. If empty, fill with potable water. Descale the machine, if necessary.

What does 19 bars mean?

All the Nespresso machines are equipped with a 19-bar pressure pump, which provides the power needed to pierce the film of the capsule and release the coffee's 900 or so different aromas. The shape of the Nespresso capsule has been specially designed to ensure that the pressurized water flows evenly through the ground coffee during extraction. The temperature and flow time are also set to ensure that each precious aroma is expressed.
