Why we love it: DOUBLE ESPRESSO SCURO is an intensely roasted blend of Arabica and Robusta, delivering a smoky character with cocoa notes and subtle hints of vanilla. The richness of the Robusta, with the same caffeine levels as the existing VERTUO coffees, comes from a blend of regular and decaffeinated coffees sourced from Vietnam, Costa Rica, and other countries.
Roasting:
We separate the Robusta and Arabica beans but give both a full roast to develop the strong cocoa notes and the smoky character of this coffee.
Recipe:
Cocoa and vanilla notes emerge beautifully with the addition of milk.
