Capriccio, with its unique character, was one of our first four coffees launched in 1986. At that time, its Robusta content made it our most intense coffee. As pioneers in a coffee industry where only Arabicas were considered premium, we chose to use high‑quality Robusta to elevate the blend — a bold move. Lightly roasted Brazilian and Colombian Arabicas combined with Robusta reveal a rich profile with delicate acidity and cereal notes, satisfying lovers of mild espressos who enjoy a touch of boldness in their cup.
Roasting
Capriccio undergoes a light roast to preserve the delicate acidity that shines through its rich cereal notes. The light roasting also develops the rich profile that is unique to Capriccio.
Recipe:
Adding milk to Capriccio brings out biscuit and caramel notes and enhances the coffee’s sweetness. It is easy to enjoy Capriccio with milk as a Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato.
