Why I love Nespresso!!

Nespresso is the best, I purchased my first Nespresso in 2014 and since then I drink only Nespresso coffee. I have all your accessories. I just purchased a new aeroccino 4 and I love it. I just change my machine and purchase the virtuo next premium, I paired it with my phone took a while but now I know what I’m doing. I was entitled to a welcome gift and one of the new nomad thermo that was not on the listing. The young girl I spoke to customer service sent an email to the department and the supervisor called me and said she made arrangements in order to send me the nomad thermo, she certainly made my day. One more reason why I love Nespresso it is a quality store, and I love being their customer, they certainly know about customer service, Once again thank you.

Vraiment agréable à se servir, il fait chauffer le lait au même moment que fait fondre le chocolat. De mon côté j'ajoute 2 carrés de After Eight au lait et fait chauffer sélectionne Moka ajout 2 x un 40ml de café de votre choix. c'est sublime!!!

Drink Game Changer

The Barista Milk Recipe Maker is a game-changer when it comes to your Nespresso drinks. The variety of drinks you can create is wonderfull, I stick to flat white's and cappuccino, the milk you use matters, the higher milk fat the better, you get great foam and plenty of it. Looking forward to the Summer when I can enjoy ice drinks!

Amazing device and technology!

I just stared using the Barista yesterday. I thought the Aeroccino was a great product but this is superb. I have made three recipes so far. I love the connectivity with the Nespresso app so that you can exchange recipes. The Barista holds 12 recipes and there are many more available. Unlike what a previous reviewer wrote, the froth is as good as you will find on the most upscale machines. It probably depends on the milk that you are using. In my experience with the Aeroccino if the milk isn’t fresh enough the froth will be not so frothy. With the fresh milk I have been using the froth is perfect. I give the Barista a strong thumbs up if you are looking for classy coffee beverages.

Good product but can’t add some menu

Can make some menus based on the App. However some menus are not working and tried everything. Disappointed in a way considering the cost of these machine.

Extensive Barista Fun for the whole family!

This product has been so much fun for me, my family and friends to use and learn new recipes. Even my children love making special “Kid coffee” with it. Easy to use, fun to try new recipes, and super easy to clean. My only concern is that my lid stopped fitting tightly after a couple of uses. I still works great but is less leakproof now.

Started well, didn’t last well.

Started out good, but wears out fast. Initially did a really good job but now I can’t even put the minimum amount of milk in it without it overflowing. (Yes, I’ve cleaned the lid and reset the seal, but it didn’t help). It also does not froth alternatives such as oat milk, very well. Even compared to the Aeroccino 4 which does a pretty good job even with oat milk.

Aeroccino made better foam for cappuccino

I like the Mocha recipes and the Café Viennois is delicious. However I wasn’t able to get any warm foam for cappuccino or it’s variations. I am stick to the cold foam of viennois. I changed my Aeroccino because it stopped working (wasn’t warming up milk anymore, after 8 years if loyal service). I haven’t tried to link to my phone because I do not like the idea. I totally second one of the comments below: “I am so glad I got this with the "Private Sale" with purchase of pods deal. I say this because it is NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, worth the $300 price tag! I have the Barista at home, and a cheap frother at work, and the one at work makes beautiful thick foam. Barista does not, no matter which recipe used (and I've tried SO MANY of them). Also, there is very little difference with the freshness or type of milk. Again, glad I paid under $30 for it, I was buying lots of coffee pods anyway.” I’ll try to call support, but I am not sure what they can do to help me fix this. If you want a frother, go with Aeroccino.

Neat frother well made but gasket leaks often

I like this machine! It’s cool and the quality is great. Well designed except the gasket on the lid. It almost always never seems to sit properly and it overflows. I have to stop the machine and remove the gasket and put it back on. I usually get it by the second try but today no matter what I do it just won’t work! Is it a defect? Do I need a replacement gasket? Frustrating

Le couvert pop et laisse sortir le lait lors du moussage. Il devrait visser. Mais si non c'est fonctionnel.

Mixed Feelings

I received my Barista maker yesterday, and have yet to use it. Although the lady with Nespresso Canada was extremely helpful, we weren't able to make it connect properly. Although it still works, there is a major issue with connecting to the hidden menu...although I was offered a new machine, it'd mean another couple of weeks in which I would have to wait for a new one, which was not an option to me. Hopefully, it will not cause too many issues for me, as I am worried that I will not be covered under warranty now

Does not stay sealed closed

I got this with a private sale after wanting it for so long. I have tried over 6 types of nut milk and none of them froth, barista editions or not. Dairy milk frothed for a bit but no longer does. Furthermore, the lid does not stay sealed closed so when I turn on the machine and turn my back to it I return to a pond on my counter and in the machine itself of unfrothed milk. A huge mess that I do not need every morning. Definitely not worth 300$, I wish I kept my aeroccino 3

Glad I got this for the $27 Deal

I am so glad I got this with the "Private Sale" with purchase of pods deal. I say this because it is NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, worth the $300 price tag! I have the Barista at home, and a cheap frother at work, and the one at work makes beautiful thick foam. Barista does not, no matter which recipe used (and I've tried SO MANY of them). Also, there is very little difference with the freshness or type of milk. One of the worst things, however, is that about 1/4 of the time, IT LEAKS FROM THE LID, and not just a little! Again, glad I paid under $30 for it, I was buying lots of coffee pods anyway.

Frustrating connectivity!

Was really excited to get this as i was hoping for it for a couple of years. Got it as a christmas gift from my children. Have had nothing but warm milk from it since! Have tried rebooting it a couple times. It just lets me remove recipes, but I cannot add anything. It says it is connected, but does not let me do anything from the app. I'm thinking it's not worth the money and going back to my original frother....So disappointed!

a lemon!

I have been thru two of these machine , the second one replaced the first one.... the lid easily pops off with the air pressure inside, so we would put a heavy object on top to keep the lid on. It still easily over flows even if we didn't even get close to the max fill line. Now I can't even get it to turn on. I have tried getting thru to customer service but can't be on hold all day. the online assistant wasn't able to understand my questions. The froth was great but I can't get it to turn on anymore. too bad nespresso!

only less than 2 months, it stopped working

When the frother was working, it made my coffee almost could be compared with Starbucks's, however the machine stopped working soon after, less than 2 months since it was put in use. I called customer service, they tried to guide me to reset it by hopping on video call, which I liked and thanked, however the machine couldn't be reset so the representative offered me $100 credit for buying a new one. But after reading all 1-star reviews, I decided not to take this credit for I most likely would put $199 in vain again soon. And even though the representative was patient and professional, I'm still disappointed by the way Nespresso handles broken machines like this.

Très bien, mais a brisé après deux mois.

J'aurais mis 4 étoiles, mais il a arrêté de mousser après seulement 2 mois. La première chose à régler serait donc d'avoir une machine plus durable. À part de ça, ce qui m'empêcherait de mettre 5 étoiles, c'est la rigidité de l'application. Très dommage d'avoir une machine avec autant de calibration possible, mais nous n'avons accès qu'à un nombre très limité de recette fixes et immuables. Donc pas moyen de modifier les temps, la force, la température, rien du tout. Ça aurait être facile de donner des options de recettes personnalisables.

Do not buy this. You will hate it.

Do not by this. It's garbage on every level. Thankfully I bought this on a capsule purchase deal so I didn't pay the crazy price they ask for it. I think I got it for $40 and that is still too much. I was frustrated with this from the start but wasn't compelled to write a review until it stopped working all together after less then 6 months. This things doesn't work without the app to set it up. That's a frustration to start with. When you go to pour out the milk into your cup watch out. You have to remove or hold the spinner in place or it will fall into your cup and splash everywhere. This is especially annoying when your coffee maker isn't right beside your sink. It doesn't really get your milk that hot. So if you looking for anything more then warm milk you will be disappointed. And it's loud. Like irritatingly loud. And not just while it's warming your milk. For a solid 5 mins after while it cools off or something.. I feel so bad for anyone that shelled out the full amount for this trash. If I could give it negative stars I would.
