    With a selection of three coffee sizes, an automatic capsule ejection system and a 30 seconds fast heat-up time, enjoying your coffee becomes as simple as it should be. Prodigio can also easily fit into any space thanks to its rotating water tank. The cup support can also be lifted to accommodate a recipe glass.

    For your coffee experience to become even simplier, Prodigio machines have two lights to indicate when action is needed. The Nespresso light turns ON when your capsule stock is low or empty, ensuring you never run out of capsules. The maintenance light will turn ON when the water tank is empty, the capsule container is out or full, or a descaling is needed. These new features will ensure that your machine is always ready for the next perfect coffee.

  • What does 19 bars mean?

    All the Nespresso machines are equipped with a 19-bar pressure pump, which provides the power needed to pierce the film of the capsule and release the coffee's 900 or so different aromas. The shape of the Nespresso capsule has been specially designed to ensure that the pressurized water flows evenly through the ground coffee during extraction. The temperature and flow time are also set to ensure that each precious aroma is expressed.

  • Do I need a club member ID to use connectivity?

    Yes, a club member ID is necessary to use the Connectivity functions of your Prodigio / Prodigio&Milk. One unique club member ID is linked to one machine.

  • My device cannot find my machine/I am having issues pairing my machine, what should I do?

    Make sure your Bluetooth is activated on your device, your machine is turned on, you are close enough to your machine and that the machine you are trying to pair is a Nespresso Prodigio or Prodigio& milk. Check the 'How to pair' video on (LINK)The following steps may help solving a pairing issue:
    1) Check that no other mobile device is currently running the application
    2) Stop the Nespresso application
    3) Remove the Prodigio machine from the Bluetooth settings
    4) Restart your device
    5) Factory reset the machine from the machine: see further explanations below.
    6) Check that your device is compatible with the machine. Go on: www.nespresso.com/prodigioPairing after those operations should work better. If it still doesn't work, it can be due to the environment. For example, having lots of Bluetooth devices or a running microwave oven close to the machine could cause connectivity unreliability. If the problem persists, please contact the Nespresso Club for further assistance.

  • My Prodigio machine has little or no coffee flow?

    If there is no coffee flow, please check that:1. The main supply cord is not trapped between the water tank and the machine2. The water tank is sufficiently full and correctly positioned3. Your machine is turned ON (lights ON)4. If there is low coffee flow, it means you need to descale your machine.

  • What do the maintenance and Nespresso lights mean on my machine?

    The maintenance LED has several meanings; descaling is needed (please check your App), the maintenance module is out, the capsules container is full or no more water in the water tank.The Nespresso LED warns you when you reach your predefined capsules stock threshold to remind you to reorder capsules.

  • How do I restore this machine to factory settings/reprogram this machine?

    To factory reset from your machine: Ensure the machine is off. Press simultaneously the lungo and espresso buttons on the machine for 5 seconds. Once the factory reset is complete, the maintenance LED will blink. Please note that if the 3 cup size buttons were lit before this operation, the machine has gone into standby mode and you need to repeat the same operation again (press simultaneously the lungo and espresso buttons on the machine for 5 seconds).To factory reset from your app: Go on my Machine page. Click on machine icon, then click on Machine details and then on Factory reset.Note that factory setting are: lungo, espresso, ristretto buttons respectively 110 ml / 3.7oz., 40ml / 1.35oz., 25ml / 0.84oz.; automatic OFF mode after 9 minutes; water hardness set by default to hard (corresponds to 1000 Espresso cups)

  • How do I take care of my machine?

    Check ‘how to descale’ video on: (LINK) and ‘how to clean’ video on (LINK)
    1. Descale your machine at least once a year if you use soft water. Note: for hard water, descale twice a year. (If you don’t know what type of water you have, check the water tank – hard water tends to leave white marks)Order a descaling kit now (LINK )
    2. Eject your capsules after each use
    3. Change the water tank regularly, and refill with fresh drinking water
    4. Empty and clean the capsule container and drip tray on a regular basis
    5. For integrated milk devices, activate the cleaning procedure after each use
    6. Before your first coffee, brew water without a capsule by pressing any coffee button.
    When you do this, you pre-heat your coffee cup while rinsing the extraction system for a better coffee experience.
