1. Prepare the descaling of your Vertuo Next machine

Empty and rinse the drip tray and capsule container. Then fill the water tank with 1 sachet of Nespresso descaling solution + 0.5 L of water.
Place a 1 L container under the coffee outlet.

2. Activate descaling mode

Turn on the machine (steady white light). Open the head to eject any capsule, then close it without locking.
Press the button for 7 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
Lock → unlock → press again for 7 seconds to confirm descaling mode.

3. Start automatic descaling

Lock the machine and press the button. The cycle will start and stop automatically.

4. Rinse the Vertuo Next machine

Empty, rinse, and refill the water tank with fresh drinking water. Press the button to start the automatic rinse cycle.
Once finished, the light will turn steady. Let the machine rest for 10 minutes before use.

Important to know: Use only the official Nespresso descaling kit. Do not touch the descaling solution, as it may be irritating. The descaling process cannot be interrupted. If the machine is unplugged during the procedure, it will restart in descaling mode upon powering back on.
