Circular moving day initiative in Montreal & Quebec
Help give items a second life through donation and reuse.
This Moving Day season, we’re bringing coffee, community, and a second life for everyday items together. If you live in or are passing through Montreal or Quebec City, this initiative is for you!
In partnership with Fondation La Collecte, Nespresso facilitates the collection of used household items to give them a second life.
What else?
Your donations help keep items in circulation while supporting youth mentorship. Proceeds from their sale benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Montreal and Quebec, a non-profit that empowers young people through mentorship.
Join us at our mobile coffee truck to drop off gently used items and enjoy a complimentary Nespresso coffee while you’re there.

- Clothing and accessories
- Textiles
- Baby items
- Toys, leisure and cultural items (books, CDs, board games, etc.)
- Sports equipment
- Small household items
- Home décor and seasonal items
Return Instructions :
- Place all donations in closed bag or boxes.
- Items must be small enough, that they can be carried by one person.
No donations to bring? No problem, come enjoy a coffee and connect with the community.
Keep good things in circulation :
Giving items a second life is part of what we do. With our Green Bag recycling solution*, it’s easy to recycle your used capsules right from home**.
The aluminium is then recycled, and the coffee grounds are given a second life.
ENJOY. RECYCLE. REPEAT.
*The Green Bag solution is available throughout the province of Quebec.
**Nespresso capsules are recyclable through the Nespresso recycling program.
