Three islands, three rare, precious coffees. You are about to embark on a coffee tasting journey that will not only teach you how to taste coffee like an expert, but take you on a sensory exploration of three of the world’s most unexpected island destinations which are home to the world’s most precious and rare coffees. As a bonus, we are joined by 2021 Australian Bartender of the Year Evan Stroeve who will show us how to create a cocktail developed exclusively for Nespresso.

Beachside Reviver​

Tropical Escapism. A summer cocktail fruity and decadent

Ingredients

60ml Dark Rum
80ml Aged Sumatra Espresso
30ml Macadamia Liqueur
30ml Fresh Pineapple Juice
10ml Smoked Maple Syrup
120ml Spiced Coconut Horchata

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker to mix, except the espresso. Divide each into a swizzle glass. Pour espresso over to make a beautiful gradient.

Cafè Tonica​

A pre-dinner aperitif. A cocktail of bubbles, bitterness and complexity.

Ingredients

60ml Australian Amaro
20ml White Rum
20ml Amontillado Sherry
40ml Aged Sumatra
10 Drops Beechworth Spiced Chocolate Bitters
200ml Tonic Water

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker, except tonic and shake with one cube until fully melted. Pour through strainer into chilled highball glass, top with your favourite tonic water
