½ fresh non-treated lime

10 ml honey

5 ice cubes

60 ml ginger beer

1 OL Festive Black Espresso (40 ml) / VL Festive Double Espresso (80ml)

1 mint sprig

(Optional) 40 ml vodka

Let's make it!

  • Prepare the Base: In a mixology glass, add ½ fresh lime (cut into 6 pieces) and 10 ml honey.
  • Muddle & Ice: Muddle the lime and honey, then add 3 ice cubes.
  • Add Ginger Beer: Pour 100 ml ginger beer, stir gently lifting lime pieces.
  • Shake Coffee: In a Nespresso shaker, extract 40 ml coffee (Espresso portion), add 4 ice cubes, shake vigorously. (For VL, extract 80ml & add more ice)
  • Combine & Garnish: Pour coffee gently over mixture, top with mint leaves.
  • Optional: Add 40 ml vodka in the shake with the coffee & ice for an alcoholic version.
