Citrus scented
biscotti LATTE
Warm yourself up on a chilly day with this sweet treat, which combines a hint of citrus with the comforting taste of biscotti for a simple but delicious indulgence.
ingredients
- 1 capsule Voltesso
- 7 oz milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp anise seeds(or 1/2 tsp anise extract)
- 1/2 tsp lemon grated lemon zest
- 1 tsp raw (Demerera) sugar (or light brown sugar)
Preparation
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 2 oz milk, seeds and/or extract(s), zest and sugar
- Whisk until all have combined, sugar has dissolved and milk is heated through
- Turn off heat and cover. Let steep 5 minutes
- Pour milk mixture through fine strainer and into VertuoLine Coffee cup
- Brew Espresso into milk mixture. Stir to combine
- Froth the remaining 5 oz milk until foaming and pour onto the top of the Espresso and milk mixture
- Enjoy!
