Dulsao Do Brasil and Exotic Fruit Sorbet

Fresh frozen tropical fruit gives exotic flavour to this easy-to-prepare sorbet, providing a lightly sweet companion to the coffee.

Ingredients

  • capsules of Grand Cru Dulsao do Brasil
  • For the sorbet
  • 750g of frozen fruit (mango, pineapple___)
  • 50g of icing sugar
  • egg white
  • capsule of Grand Cru Dulsao do Brasil

Materials

  • mixer / blender
  • Espresso Cups (6x 80 ml/3 oz)

Preparation

For the sorbet
  • Place the fruit in the mixer/blender with the sugar, egg white and hot coffee, and blend until the mixture is smooth and consistent
  • Use the sorbet immediately or place in the freezer for 2 hours
  • Serve with Dulsao do Brasil
NB: You will find bags of frozen fruit in the freezer selection of your supermarket or you can put your own fruit into pieces and freeze it
