NESPRESSO IS PROUD TO SUPPORT THE EE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS IN 2019.

Storytelling is part of the Nespresso DNA. We understand the power of immersing an audience into a story, and believe that there's no greater medium for storytelling than film. Nespresso seeks out people who think differently, who are prepared to go further, push boundaries and demonstrate creativity in what they do.

For many years, Nespresso has supported film festivals that recognise outstanding creativity and talent including the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlinale. Now, for the third year running, Nespresso is proud to be an Official Partner of the EE British Academy Film Awards 2019 in London. The Official BAFTA Nespresso Nominees’ Party will be held on Saturday 9th February at Kensington Palace, on the eve of the 2019 Film Awards. Last year, Margot Robbie, Karen Gillan, Natalie Dormer, and Nicholas Hoult were among some of the nominees who attended.

Nespresso has a strong commitment to supporting talent in the film industry and through international partnerships with the likes of BAFTA, the Cannes Film Festival and The Berlinale, Nespresso aims to inspire and support those in film globally.

NESPRESSO TALENTS CONTEST 2019

Nespresso Talents celebrates the next generation of film talent by promoting their art to a globally engaged audience Now in its fourth year, the competition challenges filmmakers to produce up to 3 minutes of content filmed in a vertical format. For 2019 this subject is “We are what we eat”.

For Nespresso, food is so much more than what is on our plate. It is the colour, the aroma, the culture. It is a notebook scribbled with recipe ideas. It is the memory of special moment. It is the public market where you buy your produce or you allotment where you grow your fresh vegetables… We are challenging filmmakers to share what food means to them.
