We chose to decaffeinate the same kind of Arabica coffees from Brazil, Costa Rica and other Latin American origins as went into Arpeggio. The careful decaffeination process we use honors the bean’s true nature so you don’t lose its characteristic profile. The Brazilian and Costa Rican coffees in the Arpeggio Decaffeinato coffee blend are naturally rich in cocoa aroma. We chose other Latin American coffees for their softer fruity notes.
A dark and deep roast of the Brazil and Costa Rica really pushes the intensity of those cocoa notes. We gave the fruitier coffees a lighter roast for balance in this decaf coffee pod
