Directions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients for the funnel cake together first
  2. Slowly pour in the milk to the dry mix and whisk as you pour. Followed by the eggs and espresso shot
  3. Pour Mixed batter into a squeeze bottle and set aside for frying
  4. Sautee Onions and garlic until caramalised on medium high heat, then add in tomato puree, mustard, honey and espresso shot. Let it simmer on low until it reaches a saucy consistency

  6. Pan sear all sides of the Ribeye on hot pan to get the browning colour. Should not exceed 1 minute on each side. Afterwhich, throw in a knob of butter, 2 cloves of garlic, thyme and baste until desired doneness is achieved. Best is medium rare which takes about 1 to 2 minutes on high heat
  7. Poach eggs. Perfect poached eggs with runny yolk takes no more than 4 minutes
  8. Assemble
