85% of the aluminium in our capsules is recycled aluminium

Aluminium is the perfect barrier to oxygen, light and humidity and to protect the freshness and the aromas of high-quality coffee, over time. Besides that is infinitely recyclable and is one of the most widely recycled materials in the world.

The only way to become more circular is to ensure what comes to an end always becomes a new beginning.

Master Origins: A Journey of Coffee Craftsmanship

"Our Master Origins coffee invites you to explore exceptional coffee craftsmanship from around the world. Each coffee within the Master Origin collection is inspired by its country of origin and crafted by skilled artisans who employ unique techniques to push the boundaries of flavor.

Much like the finest wines, the Master Origins series celebrates single-origin coffees, exceptional quality, and unique terroir — each with its own distinct character and flavor profile. Dive into the diverse world of coffee-making with Nespresso’s Master Origin capsules and experience the artistry behind every cup."

Origin

This fully-washed coffee is sourced in the high-altitude region of Aguadas, in Colombia.

Roasting

We separate this coffee in two batches for roasting. Most of it is given a fast and light roast, and a smaller portion is roasted a little longer and deeper to add complexity to the cup.
