Coffee Muffins and Chestnut Muffins

  • capsule of Grand Cru Ristretto Decaffeinato or Roma
  • For the muffins
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1/2 pocket of yeast
  • 50 g of sugar
  • egg
  • 40 g of butter
  • tablespoons of chestnutcream
  • For the icing
  • eating spoons of sugar
  • capsule of Grand Cru Ristretto Decaffeinato or Roma

  • Espresso cup (80 ml/3 oz)

Let's make it!

For the muffins
  • Preheat the oven at 180°
  • In a large bowl, whisk the coffee with the milk, add the egg and butter
  • Add the flour, the sugar and the yeast
  • Finally add chestnut to the dough, and fill the baking form until ¾rd
  • Put in the oven for 15min
  • Wait 5min to cool off
For the icing
  • Mix in a little bowl the sugar, water and coffee until you become a smooth consistence
  • Decorate the muffins with some icing
  • Drink with Ristretto Decaffeinato or Roma
