Everyone is trying their best to produce as little waste as possible. Did you know that the right waste management, can even make your waste valuable?
If you chose to use the right raw materials and right recycling processes, you create a circular process in which your waste continually starts a new life - so actually, there is no more waste.
At Nespresso we use this principal as much as possible. For example, not only the aluminum in our capsules is reusable but as well the coffee ground is used to create energy. Want to know more about what your capsule is worth?

You use exactly the amount of coffee and water that’s needed for your perfect cup of coffee. Besides we have made a conscious decision for aluminum packaging as a sustainable option. Aluminum is the best material to preserve the freshness and aromas of our coffees as long as possible and the aluminum is infinitely recyclable.

The Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ program was launched in collaboration with Rainforest Alliance.
With this program we make sure that our coffee beans are produced under the best possible circumstances for the environment, the farmers, their families, and their communities. This means higher yields and higher pay for the farmers compared to the market price for their coffee beans.
