Today, Nespresso collaborates directly with more than 50,000 agricultural enterprises all over the world.

“Making Rosabaya* means that we are different. We are very proud to be producing a Grand Cru that is typical of our region. To guarantee this quality, we must follow very strict steps during the harvest. We record everything. These aspects have even become more emphasized by Nespresso’s program . . . This is teamwork; it is a reciprocal process.”

“THIS PROGRAM HAS A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THOUSANDS OF FARMERS, ON THEIR FAMILIES, AND ON THE ENVIRONMENT.”

To make sure Nespresso can continue to guarantee types of coffee with unique aroma profiles, in 2003 the company, in cooperation with the environmental NGO The Rainforest Alliance, started the AAA Program, which is to maintain sustainable quality.

"“The relationship between The Rainforest Alliance and Nespresso is beneficial to both sides. On the one hand, it gives Nespresso the certainty that the producers in all agricultural enterprises engage in sustainable coffee growing. On the other hand, The Rainforest Alliance and our colleagues at Réseau d’Agriculture Durable benefit from Nespresso’s experience and expertise in matters of quality. That is why we can convey to the producers the totality of competencies, experience, and specific tools that allow them to produce increasing volumes in good quality and, at the same time, in an environmentally friendly way.” "

“I HAVE DECIDED TO DEVOTE MY LIFE TO COFFEE.”

Only one to two percent of the global coffee harvest satisfies Nespresso’s exacting quality requirements.

“During my university studies in Colombia I learned to recognize, memorize, and classify a large number of aromas and flavors. The Grands Crus from Nespresso are the result of the work of experts. “I have fine-tuned a method for assessing the aroma profile of green coffee and determining the quality of every single Grand Cru. In this manner, I can conceive of our next creations, especially our Limited Editions.”

“THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE PRODUCT IS GOOD.”

"One in four Michelin star chefs has already decided in favor of Nespresso. With his cuisine, which is rich in different flavors and which he keeps reinventing, three-star chef Christian Le Squer from Brittany embodies the high art of French cooking. "

“I love unpretentious, understated quality. Culinary art is the search for perfection, a world of conveying something, of sharing, and of excellence. Coffee is an indispensable part of the art of cooking and forms the signature underneath the meal, as it were; it is the final touch that you remember afterwards. It must develop completely naturally, as a matter of course. A Grand Cru from Nespresso can accomplish that.”
