NESPRESSO AND LET'S WORK TOGETHER FOR BIODIVERSITY
FROM THE RECYCLING OF COFFEE CAPSULES NEW GARDENS, HABITATS AND SPECIAL VISITS ARE CREATED TO SUPPORT BIODIVERSITY IN FAI PROPERTIES
Nespresso and FAI - Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, are launching a new project to help support and closely observe biodiversity
in places full of history and culture, such as FAI properties, exploring nature and the surrounding Italian territory. A project that is part of the broader program “Nespresso per l’Italia”, which will help transform the recycling of coffee capsules into a concrete contribution to the creation, care and maintenance of green areas that FAI protects.
With the first contribution in the gardens of Villa del Balbianello,
on Lake Como, over 100 kg of compost produced from used capsules thanks to the "From Chicco to Chicco" project,
were donated by Nespresso and used to regenerate the gardens of the Loggia Durini,
one of the most evocative views of the Property. Compost, thanks to its characteristics,
is an ideal fertilizer for these areas: it increases biodiversity,
contributes to a greater variety of soil life, improves the health of plants and the ecosystems that support them.

What does the activity with FAI consist of?
The initiative allows customers to receive 1 free ticket per customer card to visit the historic Palazzo e Giardini Moroni in Bergamo, whose gardens have been redeveloped thanks to over 100 kilos of compost created from the recycling of used Nespresso capsules.
Since when is the initiative active?
From October 1st, International Coffee Day, and while supplies last.
For whom is the entrance ticket to Palazzo and Giardini Moroni valid?
Each ticket is valid for free admission for one person, exclusively for a visit to Palazzo e Giardini Moroni in Bergamo.

How do I use the FAI ticket?
Thanks to the unique code indicated on the ticket in physical or digital format, you can book your visit on the official FAI website. You will then need to print the booking confirmation, to be presented at Palazzo e Giardini Moroni at the time of the visit, which must take place by March 30, 2024.
Where can FAI tickets be collected?
FAI tickets can be collected, upon delivery of the used capsules, at Nespresso Boutiques with an active recycling area. Where the physical ticket is not available, you can request one and it will be sent to you in digital format.
Why has Nespresso decided to relaunch this initiative?
The collaboration with FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano – was born within the “Nespresso per l’Italia” Program and has been part of it for over 3 years. For us, it means contributing to our positive impact on the Italian territory and at the same time involving and raising awareness among our customers on the topic of capsule recycling.
How long can FAI tickets be used?
The FAI ticket will be valid until March 30, 2024, excluding events, demonstrations or guided tours, and will allow you to visit Palazzo and Giardini Moroni in Bergamo and, in particular, the new gardens, redeveloped with the support of Nespresso.
*Initiative valid from 1 October 2023. To book your visit to Palazzo e Giardini Moroni in Bergamo, visit the website www.ibenidelfai.it and enter the unique code on the FAI coupon provided by Nespresso during the booking process. Remember to print your booking confirmation and show it at the Palazzo e Giardini Moroni ticket office. The FAI coupon can be used by 30/03/2024 for free entry to Palazzo e Giardini Moroni in Bergamo (excluding events, demonstrations and guided tours).
