Nature of a Chef
Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman in France) and Compagnon du Tour de France (Companion of Tour de France), Emmanuel Renaut has been awarded with a 3rd Michelin star in 2012.Trained in Paris, he starts his career at l’Hôtel de
Crillon’s restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs, alongside Christian Constant. He joins Marc Veyrat at l’Auberge de l’Eridan, as his second-in-command for seven years. This experience is marked by an interlude at Yves Thuriès. After directing the Claridge’s kitchen in London, he returns to the mountains and settles down in Megève in 2004. There he creates his restaurant Flocons de Sel. In the heart of one of the most beautiful French villages, Emmanuel Renaut designs his own cuisine: witty, playful, timeless and deeply inspired by nature. His menu is an invitation
to take a hike in the mountains
or a stroll through meadows and gardens
. As exhilarating as breathing in the fresh mountain air!
