This is how easy it is to give your Nespresso coffee capsules a new life
Hand in your used Nespresso coffee capsules for recycling in all DAO Parcel Shops. All you need is a Nespresso recycling bag and a return code. Here's how:
- Get a free return code: Press the button below to generate the code
- Write the return code clearly on the front of your recycling bag
- Once you have filled your used Nespresso coffee capsules into the recycling bag, seal it securely with both adhesive strips
- Hand in the bag at your nearest DAO Parcel Shop.

Do you need a recycling bag?
When ordering coffee capsules, the corresponding number of recycling bags will be suggested so that you can add them to your basket. You can also order here and add a bag to your order. If you don't order your coffee capsules online, you can always pick up a free recycling bag at our Nespresso Boutiques.
The bag can be handed in at all DAO Parcel Shops, you just need to make sure that it is securely sealed with both adhesive strips and equipped with a return code, which is generated here.
You can also drop off your used coffee capsules at any Nespresso Boutique and at selected retailers. Find your nearest recycling point here.
The bag can hold about 200 Original coffee capsules or 100 Vertuo coffee capsules. Our recycling bag is made of plastic consisting of at least 85% sugar cane, and it is 100% recyclable.
