At Nespresso, we use two different processes to remove the caffeine from the green coffee beans without altering the coffee’s natural quality:
The water decaffeination process uses water to remove the caffeine. In the carbon dioxide method, the green coffee is soaked in water, after which carbon dioxide (one of the key constituents of air) is used to extract the caffeine.
Both methods are completely safe for coffee drinkers. Both processes respect the environment and the coffee bean’s true nature, allowing us to maintain the strength, variety and richness of its aromas for our consumers.

A complex yet balanced marriage between the light acidity of the South America Arabicas, cultivated at high attitude. Together with the Ethiopian Arabica and its floral touch. The split roasting of the coffee beans enhances the character of each origin.
Vivalto Lungo Decaffeinato has the same rich and complex character as the original Vivalto Lungo: roasted, lightly woody with sweet cereal and subtle floral notes, coming from a complex and contrasting blend of South American and Ethiopian Arabicas.
DISTINCLY INTENSE BOUQUET & COCOA-NOTES…
Arpeggio's distinctive character and full body comes from a blend of Central and South American Arabicas. The long roasting process allows each aspect to develop into an intense bouquet, combining intense cocoa and roasted notes.
Arpeggio Decaffeinato has the same distinctive character and full body as the original Arpeggio. Indulge yourself with the same intense cocoa and roasted notes, coming from a blend of Central and South American Arabicas.
UNIQUE RICH SCENTS AND ROUND BODY…
Volluto's rich scents and round body are accompanied by sweet biscuit and light fruit notes. A combination of Brazilian and Colombian Arabicas, the light roast allows all the finesse of this Grand Cru to be expressed.
