Latte macchiato decaffeinato intenso & walnut stars


SERVES 6

PREPARATION TIME : 10 min. COOKING TIME : 10 min. COOLING TIME : 30 min.

INGREDIENTS : 6 Decaffeinato Intenso capsules (6 x 40 ml). For the stars : 125 g (4.5 oz) butter – 80 g (2.5 oz) sugar – 1 pinch of vanilla powder – 110 g (4 oz) flour – 30 g (1 oz) cornflour – 50 g (2 oz) crushed macadamia nuts. To decorate : icing sugar.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6). Put all the ingredients in a food processor. Mix in stages until the mixture comes together as a ball of dough. Cool in the fridge for 30 min. then spread out onto the fl oured work surface. Cut it using a star-shaped pastry cutter. Place the stars on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper, and bake for approx. 10 min. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve with a Decaffeinato Intenso* Grand Cru Latte Macchiato.
