NESPRESSO at the 2010 Bocuse d'Or Europe
From June 7th to June 8th
The second edition of the Bocuse d’Or Europe will take place in Geneva, its proving ground for 2010. Nespresso is one of the prestigious partners for the second year running.
This event is as important for its repercussions as for its prestige: the international jury is headed by Joël Robuchon; Frédy Girardet is the honorary president; and Philippe Rochat is the competition president.
Twenty countries secured their berth among Europe’s culinary elite during the selection process that began in February 2009. These countries will go head-to-head in Geneva for their chance to compete in the world finals in Lyon in January 2011.
The selection holds a great deal of promise. Countries with world-renowned culinary traditions, such as Germany, Austria, and Belgium, are joined by up-and-coming talents from Estonia, Hungary, Croatia, Malta, and Slovakia.
Nespresso, flowing naturally along with the world-class culinary movement, is offering tastings of its Grands Crus in its lounge and in various other spaces during the competition.
