Martin Vallin grew up on the Sweden-Denmark border and graduated from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. His work draws on both cultures and combines the tradition of Danish design with Swedish rigour. It is emotion, though, that drives the design of this refuge armchair, entirely built from recycled wood. It is his first industrial project.
