This original shape is reminiscent of a seashell but is actually made of a ceramic material covered entirely with gilded metal – a designer object in a class of its own. “This is a straightforward project; there’s nothing youcan say against it,” comments Christian Ghion. “It’s an object that reflects my personal notion of what luxury is all about,” adds Konstantin Grcic.
