South African Mike Horn is acknowledged as one of the world's greatest modern adventurer-explorers.
In 2008 Mike Horn launched a unique environmental project, Pangaea, that is already being billed as one of the most remarkable voyages of exploration ever to be undertaken and which Nespresso is proud to be a partner. The expedition’s mission is to promote sustainability and conservation of the environment to the world's youth at each destination it travels to. The headquarters of Pangaea for the four years of the expedition will be a 35 meter exploration sailing vessel, equipped with many innovative technologies. It is made with an entirely recyclable aluminium hull, reflecting Mike Horn’s passion for environmental sustainability.
Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, meaning that the boat can be built and after this expedition we can recycle our own boat. Having Nespresso as a partner is quite exciting.
