In the world of coffee ‘AA’ has always stood for highest quality coffee. In 2003 we at Nespresso set out to create the first AAA coffees in the world, by incorporating an additional A for sustainability to the AA of quality.
For us AAA SUSTAINABLE QUALITY™ encapsulates our quest to ensure our coffees are produced to the highest standards of quality balancing the creation of social and economic value for farmers and their communities, as well as contributing to the preservation of the environment.
The AAA SUSTAINABLE QUALITY™ Program is a set of practices which together enable farmers to benefit directly from the cultivation of highest quality coffees respecting sustainability principles. It is not a solution to all of the problems affecting coffee producers around the world but it is our clear commitment to the farmers who produce Nespresso AAA coffees that they benefit from their relationship with us.
